JOB DESCRIPTION
Reason for existence
- Responsible for providing all-round, generalist human resource support and managing HR operations in Sarens’ Business Unit(s) in alignment with Group HR strategy and specific BU needs, ensuring the company disposes of the right personnel basis and structure at all times.
Key result areas
- Responsible for the setup, operational deployment and the execution of an actionable, annual HR plan/agenda, derived from the Regional HR Plan, though fully aligned with the specific BU’s needs and requirements.
- Co-develops and executes HR policy, practices, processes and procedures for providing a full range of all-round HR support in the BU, i.e. in the areas of Recruitment & Selection, Onboarding, Compensation & Benefits, Labor Law, Learning & (Organization) Development, Performance & Competence Management, Talent Identification & Career Management, Personnel administration, etc.
- Ensures the consistent and coherent application of the HR Policy in the BU.
- Provides seamless HR support and operations and liaises with Regional HR and Group HR Centers of Expertise for additional support when required.
- Advises and guides Management and employees in all HR related matters.
- Ensures an effective HR cycle and follow up.
- Responsible for effective relations and negotiations – together with Country Manager - with Trade Unions and Works Council.
- Responsible for accurate and up-to-date personnel records and files (in ERP system).
- Ensures that defined and major HR Key Ratios/Indicators are transparent, communicated and monitored at all times (e.g. number and divisions of staff, on-off hiring, staff vs. turnover, comp & ben information, etc.)
- Reports regularly to keep Management informed at all times.
- Ensures that all executed activities and processes are in compliance with Sarens’ (safety and quality) standards, -policies, – instructions and local legislation.
- Spreads the attitude of Lean and continuous improvements.
- Carries out any other prevalent activities which can be reasonably demanded and/or which are necessary for the company.
COMPETENCE PROFILE
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Accountancy
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of payroll, social security & employee benefits
- Experience in managing all HR processes
- Advanced English
- IT skills: Microsoft office applications and ERP system
