ABOUT THIS JOB

 

The Warehouseperson Sr. is responsible to lead the Warehouse team, attending 4 product lines at the company. Attends internal and external clients, is responsible for Import and Export, Materials, and Transportation. Will plan and execute tasks with the team.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

• Receives inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.
• Stock received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
• Pick materials, components and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping. Perform cycle counts.
• Prepare components kits for production, fill orders and supplier subcontract parts.
• May be responsible for contacting and coordinating with freight forwarders for pick up or delivery of goods.
• May be responsible for preparing all of the necessary paperwork (i.e. bill of lading, shipping paperwork, etc).
• Responsible for training new team members. Special projects as assigned. 

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

 

• Technical Diploma or equivalent. (Desirable Bachelor´s degree in course)
• Experience in Warehouse proceedings cited.
• Intermediate English level
• Team leadership experience.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

 

• Strong computer skills required.
• SAP experience
• Ability to work independently to consult with customers, consultants, and company management in establishing vision for corporate standards.
• Strong communication skills: good employee relations skills and supervisory experience.
