KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Must have troubleshooting and repairing skill of data acquisition system and instrumentation of Coiled Tubing, Cementing and fracturing equipment.
Perform Preventive Maintenance on data acquisition and instrumentations.
Perform calibration on instrumentations and maintain record.
Provide 24/7 technical support to operations.
Install, configure and Repair PLC’s, AC & DC and electromechanical and instrumentation equipment.
Inspect, test, calibrate, repair and maintain all electrical/electronic/instrumentation components and systems for proper operating condition.
Operate or install any electronic equipment as required
Train crew to maintain/operate same equipment
Set up and maintain an approved spare parts inventory to facilitate repairs and preventative maintenance
Prepare and keep all necessary records for job functions.
Assist Mechanic as required.
Maintain equipment certification in accordance with BHI procedures
Liaise to ensure QA of all measuring and monitoring devices satisfactory
Perform to the Quality Standards set by BHI
Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of all fellow workers or other workers is preserved at all times
Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant BHI/Customer HSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures
Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

2-3 Years Electronics/Instrumentations/Electrical Technical education.
Preferably 3+ years in last 5 years on Instrumentation Technician position
Evidence of qualifications as time served Instrumentation Technician and preferably ONC, HNC or similar
Ability to perform duties within difficult parameters and in a challenging environment in accordance with BHI QHSE systems, standard practices and statutory regulations
Good interpersonal, communication skills and the English language
Intermediate (or higher) ability with Data Acquisition System Softwares.
