Storekeeper – Almoxarife Trainee

Job Description
Organize and execute, on board vessels, warehouse and materials logistics jobs, to attend the vessels department´s necessities.

Responsible for his own, team and equipments safety

Receive, segregate and identify all material and equipment requested for the project

Issue all necessary documentation to embark or disembark material or equipment

Perform custody and control of inventory keeping it updated

Request the necessary materials according to project

Ensure the warehouse organization and housekeeping

Track materials embark and disembark

Carry on the necessaries log controls to know where the needed item is

Distribute the materials requested

Carry on periodic inventories to verify the warehouse real situation

Ensure the materials preservation to prevent deterioration or loss

Ensure the safekeeping of materials eventually forgotten on vessel

Job Requirements
High School Degree

Minimum 2 years on the function

Intermediate level in English
