Aker Solutions' Subsea Power & Process Team based in Oslo/Fornebu, with regional offices being established in Rio, Houston and Perth, is responsible for developing and delivering complete power and process solutions for installation on the seafloor. With the Ormen Lange subsea compression station pilot in operation and Åsgard subsea compression system under delivery, and several other systems delivered in the past, Aker Solutions is becoming one of the leading subsea processing integrator in the industry.

 We need both experienced and talented Process Engineers who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious plans within the subsea process system market.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Concept design, system design definition, detail design, calculations and preparations of drawings, equipment lists, etc
• Liedership in conceptual studies
• Aproval of P& ID and Flow diagrams
• Establish and maintain MEL
• Interface management
• Establish operational- and user manuals
• Establish and maintain engineering numbering systems
• Participate in tender work, delivery projects, study and concept activities
• Take lead in execution of test activities

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

• Degree in Engineering (MSc/BSc), preferably Mechanical-, Process- or Cybernetics engineering
• Project cost and schedule control
• Background from engineering, design, construction, fabrication and operation of subsea or offshore oil & gas production systems
• Familiar with engineering, procurement and manufacturing systems, practices and processes in subsea processing environment
• Advanced understanding of engineering systems and engineering principles
• Competent with Microsoft applications
• Practical, structured and analytic
• Fluent in English and good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both within a team environment and with limited supervision, ability to take lead.
