ABOUT THIS JOB

 

Manages the operations of a Business Unit . Responsibilities may include employee management and development, inventory management, sales, engineering, maintenance, operations, service, HSE, quality training, planning and budget management.  Handles special projects, as assigned.
  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

 

•      Customer Relationship Management – ensure that we maintain and improve our relationships with our customers at all levels.

 

•      Profitable Execution – strategically aligned BUs with a primary focus on the customer and tactical execution of integrated BHI services.

 

•      Business Growth – BU Leads act as ‘touch points’ for District Managers/PLMs and are responsible for BU performance.

 

•      Asset and Inventory Management – management responsibility for effective utilization of assets and inventories across BUs.

 

•      Talent and Team development – well structured BUs will help retention efforts and will provide career development opportunities achieved through added exposure to cross functional/sub-product line personnel as well as financial management responsibility (P&L). Key performance indicators will be developed to objectively measure business results and assist with coaching.

 

•      Ensure field execution is effectively and efficiently accomplished and provided.

 

•      Authority over resource allocations (both asset and personnel) based on fluctuations in activity and will work closely with Field Coordinators in this regard.

 

•      Responsible for achieving revenue, field margin, inventory, asset optimization, and DSO targets for their individual BUs as well as product line specific BU performance targets.

 

•      BU Leads act as ‘touch points’ for PLM  to go to for answers regarding BU performance, allowing them to focus on more strategic aspects of the product line.

 

• Ensures, improves, develops and responsible to obtain smooth interaction with Operations,  AMO, Country support, supply chains etc to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction.

 

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

 

•      Bachelor's Degree Engineering or equivalent.

•      Fluent English

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

 

•      8+ years experience in related field and operations.

•     Comprehensive understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in an operational area or district. Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions. Basic knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting and staffing.
